maison du peuple, jean prouvé

The ambition of this project is to give the Maison du Peuple, designed by Jean Prouvé in the 1930s in Clichy-la-Garenne and long abandoned, A new lease of life through structural verticality, symbolizing the continuity of French know-how. An exoskeleton of concrete weave as an allegory of structural thinking. The Maison du Peuple becomes the cultural support for a radiant city, embodied in its urban signage.

Designing the proportions of the tower and the structural expression of the façade in collaboration with the Lamoureux Ricciotti engineering firm was an engineering challenge.

The entire structure is composed of a single concrete module, arranged in such a way that repetition is impossible to perceive.

Development of the project for Rudy Ricciotti in partnership with LBA Architecture

Yes, I knew you'd like it, it was at the Tefaf in Maastricht and it was really beautiful.
