My mission was to work as an artist-author on this project to develop the final form of the structural elements of Nantes station, the pillars, trees, latticework, and sunshades. I worked alongside project manager Romain Bouchier and Rudy Ricciotti. Each pillar is a unique work of art, yet they are all identical. A simple rotation in plan disrupts our perception of repetition. Depending on the angle of view, they appear as feminine forms or tense muscles.
